Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae singers. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix) and Sensimelia. All of these contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani as well as Praswell, of the Fugees were joined in 1997 to create Avenue which was a cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley is the very first performer to play in Midem in Miami which was an international festival of musical talent. Marley did a live performance at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcasted by Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley became the subject of bidding wars. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997 where he completed the collaboration with label friend P.M. Daw
